My fixie. Just smashed East Bentleigh to Williamstown along Beach Rd. It's fun blasting past all the blokes in lyrca whilst a tattooed bloke in shorts and a t-shirt on a fixie is smashing them with one hand.

Brunswick is easy, Lots of places around there. If your bike comes complete and all your paying for is to have it powdered, Then thats an awesome score.

What kind of frame is it.

Chemical treated isn't as harsh as sand-blasting and leaves your bare metal really nice. Which often results in a better powder coat. Where are you based.

Paint chips so easily, even when it's done professionally.

Take it to a powdercoaters man. For around like 70 bucks, you can get it chemically stripped (removing rust & paint) and powder coated whatever colour. Looks just as good as a pro paint job and unless you smash it with a hammer, it will never chip or scratch.


Only time I'd have a bike painted is if it was a show bike and not ridden.
