      I believe he's worth that much. I base value off 'total training weeks'

      Essentially, From a base level on 20 year olds (rel/rel primaries, dread fielding/endo/power) I add up the amount of training weeks above that they are.

      So an acc/acc player with a wage of 3700 and poor power, endo and fielding would be

      16 weeks (pops to acc/acc) + 5 weeks (from acc/acc to 3700 wage). 3.5 weeks of fielding & 5 weeks of strength/fitness (similar programs) so their total would be about 30.

      an exp/exp player with ord fielding, endo and poor power (wage of 4700)

      32 (rel -> exp) + 1, 7 weeks of fielding & 7 weeks of endo/power training = 47

      then you've got an acc/acc player with 3700 wage, capable fielding, reasonable power and reasonable endo

      16 + 5, fielding is about 19, Power/endo combined is about 21

      = 61

      The exp/exp player would fetch 100K more on the TM. But in the long run, the acc/acc player will be considerably better - as they're essentially a season ahead of training.

      They'll be the same player at 26 as the other fella at 27, all the while saving 40-50K on wages in the long run.

      All of this assumes peak training times and zero sublevels ftr, and is an estimation as I don't have my data sheets open.

      I call it moneyball. The lad you just bought for me cost 7K. He was 20, acc/rel and had capable fielding I believe. 3004 wage so I knew he was/should be acc/acc on primaries. Sold him on a season later for a good profit.

      Bought a fastie with a 2900 wage this time last year, rel/rel with ave fielding, reas endo and power. 130K. 2 weeks later he was acc/acc and would have sold for 350K. But I've retained him as he's got a season of power extra which is fucking fantastic for a player of his age so he wouldn't achieve his true value on the TM - as people always underrate the gap from dread-reas on power in seamers/bats.

      It's all about playing the market and looking for hidden gems; something I feel you've done really well so far.

      last minute bidding war yus. He's worth 110. If he's less than 100, it's a good buy.

      so I doubt anyone will bid until somoene with a brain sharks it late

      He's worth more than 78K. If I were you I'd wait (unless someone gets in now) and shark near the end as the owned bid is a turnoff to buyers - makes them think he's worth less.
