Yeah, was a weird generation design. The Grass type hates the first 2 gyms but gets better moves earlier, and everything else evolves early but has crappy moves for ages.

It's fine by me, types dont mean a great deal once we get a few pokemon and totodile learns his first water move at like level 13, either way quite late for a starter.

Actually, i've figured out what I'm doing to sim it and Confusion on Abra is absolutely fine there. So I assume you want to stick with it?

BTW I'm not sure what I'm going to sim it on so we may be able to keep it as an abra, but we do need a solution to your 0 damage up until level 16.
