On some of our short kicks he was back there cleaning up too. Felt kinda bad for him for that bounce though on Hammer's try.

Respectfully I don’t think Queensland played all that well either. Some of the hyperbole spewing from the commentators last night was really hard to listen to.

Queensland were spectacular in effort areas, Crichton’s break for example where all the Queensland players ran bank and we spread the ball there were 5 players lol.

The Queensland defence has been pretty overstated in Game 2 particularly. Nothing more required than a simple sliding defence against what was a pathetic and predictable attack.

    Just watched Fittlers press conference:

'outside of the moments that they scored the tries we competed and fought hard. I was happy with the rest of it...'

Christ man. You're not coaching 2002 Souths

I tipped NSW thinking Haas-Cook-Tedesco-Moses is an effective game plan, and the rest of their team is mobile too, instead Fittler plays Robson and puts Cook at centre?

Yeh he's very handy. Comes on for 6 hitups and makes nearly 13m per.

I think DCE has another year in him. Been a great captain for us in the post-dynasty era. 34 years old, 20+ origins, 5 series as captain. That chase on Crichton was great.

Beyond 2024 we dont have much coming through tho.

He's clearly not cut out for it. Been incredibly testy in any interview or press conference when even mild criticism or questioning of who he's going to pick comes up.

Stoked at result. Very rare for QLD to close out a series in first 2 games so I'm gonna enjoy it. Would absolutely love a 3-0 sweep.

Walsh, Luai and Addo-Carr all fined, no suspensions.

    Huh?

Blues should look at bringing in a few battlers who have some resolve. Guys like McGuinness, Klem, De Belin, Butcher, Bird, Twal, Elliott etc.

Ive never seen a team so competent in the mid-field and yet so gash in both red zones. Horrendous attack, and such brittle try line defence. Anyway, i'd be goin full retard shake up.

Mitchell at 1. Graham and Suaalii in the outside backs. Walker and whoever in the halves. Koloamatangi, Klemmer into the pack.

Can't see them bringing Tupou back. Wouldn't shock me for them to move Crichton on to the wing which I think would be a mistake, reckon it would have been Suuali out there if he didn't choose union.

I'd probably be happier for them to put Johnston on the wing instead of Addo Carr.

Munster ran for the most metres on ground. Ridiculous for a 6. Dude was taking hit-ups, playing like an extra forward.

Edwards came thru the grades as a winger. Might be an option. His work from the backfield would be immense.

I was under the impression he'd played as a 5/8th but you're right he was out on the wing when they won the 20s. He may well be the answer and get Latrell at fullback.

Surprised Garrick’s name doesn’t get mentioned more for a go on the wing.

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Yeah Garrick is on my short list. Couldnt do any worse than what Addo-Carr and Tupou dished up in defence the last 3 matches.

"Fittler trying to shake turbos hand that is in a sling sums up tonight and his IQ."

"The following people can NEVER be involved in Orjgin again: - Brad Fittler - Greg Alexander - Andrew Johns - Jarome Luai - Stephen Crichton - James Tedesco - Brad Fittler again Put posters up immediately."
