    Didn't he try that in Game 1 of 2008? Price I recall was out injured so he tried to turn Webb into a prop and picked a bench of mainly backrowers.

    Nah. We had Hannant and Myles on the bench. Myles fucking killed it playing prop from the bench too. Meninga has nfi about props. He picked Webb start ffs.

    Thats right I now remember Hannant in that one. His rotation of the bench though on top of other selection blunders didn't go too good in that game.

    One might think you could sum up the poorness of Mal's selection by the line "one prop, two locks and five second rowers". But it's even worse than that because all the blokes that can play middle third are starting - all four of them. :laugh:

    Ahh. It really is an absurdly bad selection. I still actually think Queensland will win - that's how much I respect the HGA - but we're a real chance now. In fact, if we still had our Game I side in tact then I'd be tipping us in a close one.

    Merritt will probably get found out and play like shit. Dugan will play an average game whilst doing a couple of brilliant things that have no impact on the match at all and be proclaimed an out and out superstar and we'll bring back Hayne onto the wing and be fucked forever.
