Plenty of good players taken in PSDs. Tom Rockliff etc.

I'm not a fan of using PSD/rookie picks if they've played for another club before being drafted by their club that they went to in that draft. Lockett's harder to determine than most as he was recruited though zoning originally but I don't really think it's in the spirit of this to pick someone like that.

Will open it up to discussion though. Probably my fault for not including it in the rules.

Rockliff was pretty much half the age Lockett was at that point....

I think it's only fair to assume it is 2001 Lockett onwards but.

Haha such lemons.

He played 3 games after he was drafted in that PSD draft. It's a pretty cheese selection.

7. morgieb MC Burridge

Yeah. If others are happy though I'm willing to accept it.

Pretty dog move haha, depends on how the game is played tbh. IMO it should be the year they were first drafted, but we're not actually playing a game against each other so the Lockett pick in 2001 is a bit of foul play.
Skippos always finds a way though

It's a cunt move but in saying that, it's just regular Skippos.

Difference is Lockett never got drafted originally. Zoning still existed in his time.

Lockett prior to 2001 PSD - 207 games, 1122 goals

After 2001 PSD - 3 games, 3 goals.

The game is based of drafts between 92-14, Lockett had already been in the league for 10 seasons by 1992 so it's just a typical cunt move from Skippos.

Yeah cbf brett you win.

Lockett was 2002 Pre-season draft anyway.....?

2002 PSD/Rookie = 2001 draft.

The rule should be as so:

You can draft a player from the nominated draft year (inc PSD & rookie) as long as they haven't played for an existing AFL club.

All players will be judge on their performances after the year they were drafted.

Year order:
1. 2001
2. 1999
3. 2003
4. 1997
5. 2005
6. 1995
7. 2007
8. 1993
9. 2011
10. 1992
11. 2013
12. 1994
13. 2014
14. 1996
15. 2012
16. 1998
17. 2010
18. 2000
19. 2008
20. 2004
21. 2006
22. 2002

Tony Lockett was actually taken in the 2002 PSD, so suck eggs Skippos you've now helped someone else

EDIT: Beaten, but if you want to get technical about it you can't take it one way only.

The afl used to be retarded tbh. They'd hold the 2001 ND in November and the 2002 psd in December. Changed that a few years ago.
