Cribb if I'm active in these thread is it more crucial for ODActivity points than in the social bar for example (curiousity killed me)
Humble + Das + Dorn + Son are experienced but average at best (sorry) as shown by their stats, Dover is decent as is Smith, Jorgans is well, Jorgans. Pumas lads I listed all (Bar Schaw and Astele) have legitimate first team claims, most would be SWXI first XI players.
I actually don't think any of the Kittens players you named would be in the Sticky Wickets BS team with the possible exception of Oz.
Das and Son have had one season. Son had a good first season, showed he is a good middle order bat and a handy bowler. Das had a bad last season IIRC, but that was one season.
Then nobody would bowl to you to get your century Would definately have Herd in over a non bowling Logan. I'd still much prefer those Pumas six.
Well Logan averaged almost 40 in the Bannerman Shield last season; Herd averaged 32. The season before that Herd averaged 34 and he has a miscellaneous First Class average of 26 - he's no great shakes as a First Class batsman really. I'd take Dover ahead of Herd at this point as well.
We're talking ALC here though. Dorn and myself are - and I'm not trying to pump myself up here - awesome ALC players.
In other words... ALC standard? Das and Son are still very new players... the big break in cricsim simmage will mean they are some what underrated now based on their stats. Humble has struggled with the jump up to first class but he's a very accomplished ALC bowler who is on the fringe of first class. His recent records are not all that different to Izett's when you take a look at it, I think you're getting a little caught up in the names.
That was pretty horrible.. The 'real' players went pretty average, and then the fillers come in and smack them around for 200. Herd, Oz, Izett, Astele and Schaw I expect a lot more from in this seaosn
It's good to see Das doing well. He's guarenteed to be one of the best in the game after we ****ed him off.
