Bananaman? This is bringing back some old memories haha <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qwRMYz1vfcQ" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>

Best of any Batman cartoon ever, tbh. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lEx9r5enZsk" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>

Bananaman was on the telly when I was a lad. I remember it well enough. So was Trap Door. Never heard of the others. Well, I've clearly heard of Batman, but never knew there was a cartoon.
Bananaman was around the same time as... <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UqAksFdiKzo" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe> iirc.
I remember Superted, but thought it was rubbish at the time. Preferred Ulysses 31 and Mysterious Cities of Gold, which probably look thoroughly dated and overblown nowadays.

Some excellent shows in there, the fact that I am remembering the same kind of shows as Heef though worries me a little bit. Cartoons must have just gotten longer runs in those days.
Back in the 80s, cartoons were produced by hand - not by computer - so series tended to be much shorter and repeated much more frequently. I'm guessing in the modern age of computer animation, a 10 minute cartoon takes a lot less time to produce, so more are churned off the conveyor belt leading to less repetition (of the same cartoon, though in my opinion it seems that there is significant repetition of the same old bilge these days, though that's probably just my GOM shining through)
