This game never appealed to me. Tried really hard to give it a good run. Played AoE:III before it and found it more appealing. It's just not right.
Gunnest game, still my all time favourite. I remember spending weeks on this games and Lan/net games vs mates in Quick DMs
Haha, I remember the days raging when I destroyed enemy AI bases, and the game didn't end because they had one villager building another base 50 metres away...and once I destroyed that, they were already building another.
Haha, another thing I remember was using my trebutchets to destroy one of my friend's bits of wall and then retreat, so he'd rage about having to rebuild that part.
I remember being down to William Wallace and a single priest and I still had this castle to destroy. I'd run up and attack until Bill was in the red, run away and get healed and repeat. Took forever.
