They are trying to make this game pretty good. There's a much of wish-list in planetcricket that the game makers are looking at.
Need to include the depth (i.e. domestic cricket, touring options) that cricket 07 had. the head of it is on PC pretty frequently discussing it with the posters there so at least they seem like they're looking to improve.
I still play 07 to this very day as there has been nothing that has competed with it since. Would love a better up to date version though.
Yep - I've been playing 07 all week. I just love playing domestic cricket as opposed to being restricted to the same old international players.
I remember 12 year old me pushing all the best players into one domestic side, since there were no overseas player restrictions. The line-up included Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Muttiah Muralitharan and Jamie Dalrymple.
