    The excuse for slow batting on VA is supposedly that sometimes batsmen who try too hard to attack end up playing and missing a lot. It's bullshit though. The whole game is.

    Get a competent (or respectable) primary with a 600+ wage and at least feeble stamina and feeble relevant secondary. They're not that expensive.
