globo gym, morgie, farhat, mariner, baxter and others shaping up nicely. captain needs harris to stay in one piece.. jabba to continuously shoot himself in the foot imo :ninja: and skippos cant bowl. speirz fucked over by picking cummins and missing his turn.

Who picked Lopsy? They're having a bad time.

Phlegm to post all teams as they are now IMO.

  4. Phlegm SP Phlegm

  5. Phlegm SP Phlegm

nah i cant do that fancy formatting that gets them all side by side.

Borthwick will probably see us be rated amongst the worst at this point.

    Rate Julian's and mariner's sides

Chewie has Fawad Alam too, pretty weak bowling overall. And no openers is a bad time. Still has lots of guns in there and could be a quality side but Lopsy is a waste of space.

Sounds like something morgie could do.

  9. Skippos SM Morgan

Can't bowl? Mightn't have the best #1 bowler but rehman/gidman/Morris with Allenby is certainly a reasonable attack

    So ironic!!

He'd bat where I tell him to bat, I doubt Chewie could talk him into doing anything.

Yeah I really like Skippos' attack (without really knowing much about Morris). Has the potential to be one of the best IMO.

Speirz has a solid first three in Amla, Lyon and Hilf.

And then it gets bad with RTD, Cummins and TBA. Unless he pulls a great couple picks out of his ass he'll have to draft very very well in the later rounds to get a good team together.

  14. Cribbage RG Cribb

He's assembled a goodish attack, but I don't think it has the potential to be one of the best just because he didn't pick a Round 1 bowler. Having someone like Steyn, Philander or Harris to lead the attack makes a big difference; it'll be someone with a world class bowler like that who ends up with the best attack.

He'll fall away as the draft goes on as he has a policy of not picking players he hasn't heard of or doesn't know much about. Needed to start well, and he did so he'll have a decent side, but his late picks will be mid-range Australian domestic guys, limited overs specialists and retirees I reckon.

That demonic attack of Philander, Birch and Hall.

morris would have been a great middle rounds/retention pick but he's way too untested imo despite the great average. too much on rehman and gidman.

I reckon goats team is pretty ordinary. I'm saying that though, I've been going through the blokes who were 16/17th and lower in the first round and they seem to be the weaker sides.

    I wasn't suggesting as such.

Rehman is in the band below "world class" for mine, and he'll rip this up. Then, as long as he gets another decent seamer (of which there are a few left), it'll certainly be one of the better attacks. His best bowler won't be the best of anyone but Rehman certainly isn't a bad leader in this IMO.

    Steyn, Bresnan, Kerrigan
    Philander, Birch, Hall
    Harris, Sayers, x

.. don't really do it for me. Amazed Captain's gone for so few bowlers for when Harris inevitably breaks down.

It depends how Prez uses Hall I guess, but Skippos' attack will certainly be up there with those IMO.

Steyn + Bresnan will make that the best attack as long as he doesn't go completely off the deep end.

Hall is a shunt. A nothing pick.
