Brent. He would have come no where close to the job but since no one else ran he got the job. I refused to vote for him. Voted for Bakkum instead, I wasn't the only one.
Seen him in the clubrooms a bit, seems to talk sense. I see you don't seem to think he's the man for the job haha
Unless things have changed he goes to boarding school and only comes home in the weekends meaning he can only be on in the weekends. He's definitely not the smartest cookie. Done some odd things. A regular on the OS but gets in the way a bit. Also how he went over and did the whole PI dramatic shit about a year ago. I personally don't like him, his style so no not the right man for the job. Also the dodgey convos he had with people on my FB friends list. He added all the "hot girls" from my school. Said some shit but that was ages ago.
He's bar far the most deserving of the job though, he might not be the best but at this current time he has shown huge interest in the NT scene and i hope him all the best. I got 12 votes says something though and he got 40 odd. I wasn't even active at all in the election yet still got a decent amount. Also got 2 out of the 18 in the Netherlands for the NT job even after i didn't even comment in there election . People just trust me . and know im a good manager with a Div 1 showing once and a runner up in the Cup .
Yes, we lost in the Semi IIRC and it's alot harder than what it used to be for NZ, competition in the U20s is so much tighter now with over 6 teams able to easily win it.
Yes so true. Everyone has really got there act together when it comes to the U20s now. @ Rego - Sounds like a real deep hate going on there
Especially with the Scottish plan which I had a player involved (Stewart) I took a bit of interest of te Scottish community they told me their plan and I bought a player and trained him. It was good to help another country. However I soon went back to training NZers. Pulled and trained Ingram and Peat (Ingram made it and he's in the U20's ATM)
Definitely his actions haven't helped. That aside he definitely isn't the best candidate nowhere near but when no one else runs what can you do?
Not much I guess. But to me as TK said it seems that if no one ran then no one else much be interested. IMO it would be best to have a really interested manager in charge who can get help tactility etc, then someone who isn't interested. Consider yourself a better man for the job? Maybe you should have run mate haha
I've never taken any interest in nats. All the helping stuff I've done has always been the U20 scene so I was in no position to run.
