Last night i went to spill party. (a warehouse party, 1000 people) saw the parking lot experiments they were very good. Also saw tic tac tokyo. they were awful. AND! my bands got two gigs this holidays! cannot wait!
Robert Scheider was pretty cool (Singer from Apples in Stereo) although he was a bit happy and weird to be bandless. Yeah. It's ****ed. Every **** just goes for the experience rather than the bands now so they don't have to work as hard to get the best bands to it. There's no point spending millions getting some bullshit band out when it just means that the event sells out in 10 minutes rather than 30.
Going to see Rise Against in November. Not a huge fan of their early stuff but love their latest album.
I won't go. But I will go to the Decemberists side show which'll probs be at the enmore I guess. Besides that it's pretty ordinary.
BANDS? Is anyone here in a functioning band in melbourne? and overage? if so i need bands to play an upcoming gig.
