Cowboys lacked consistency, the 2nd half was a lot worse.

But with the game more or less in the bag, I guess it could be expected.

Happy with their defence. Their handling errors need to still be addressed but defence was great. Happy to just win and keep them to 0.

Happy also with Fai Fai Loa's performance. Fantastic game from him. Matt Scott was awesome too. Glad to see Thurston getting some form again.

Does anyone know a site that records tackles in opposition 20?

Agree with Paddy. Fai Fai Loa was excellent. Hope he stays. Much rather him than Graham.

Actually thought the Cows were fairly average.

Apart from the opening 20 the Cowboys were pretty poor. 66% completion rate (15 errors) and 7 penalties conceded.

I agree the Cowboys were poor with completion rates but as far as go forward goes I think they were really good. Tamou and Scott played really good tonight. Ill take that over the abysmal performance of the last 3 games. No doubt they have to stop being so careless in possession.

Yeah overall they wasted a lot of opportunities and they didn't even defend particularly well. As I said, the real test comes next week against a strengthened Broncos side. If they're competitive or even win next week, then I'll be much more inclined to praise them. Battering an already besieged Panthers side is hardly a cause for celebration.

I reckon there's more chance of Winterstein being dropped than Graham; he'll play if fit. Not saying he should, but he will.

Fuck there's probably more chance of Gav Cooper being dropped than Graham..

Oh I couldn't agree with you more. They love Graham. He'll be put straight back in as soon as he's fit.

I'll probably go for the Cowboys just because they're lower on the table. I want to see both make the 8.

Scott and Tamou were superb. As was Grant off the bench.

I think I'm gonna go for the Broncos myself.

And Taumalolo too. He is so impressive for a kid his age. Kid is 19 and plays like a seasoned veteran. His running game is so powerful. Good to see Bolton back in the fray too.

Tate played a lot better too. I don't understand dropping Cooper to the bench though.

Personally, I just hope the game turns out to be the real winner. And as long as both teams have players working hard for each other, without ever forgetting that the team which scores the most points wins.

I don't like the offloading trait that has developed into his game this year. A lot of them are going to ground or to support players in worse positions than he already is. When he just runs straight and hard he's a better player.

I agree about the offloading he does. And prior to tonight there was plenty of times he just didn't seem switched on during games. But he did make some good runs tonight and was good defensively too.
