Will also have a plate, shield and bowl so everyone gets a few matches - Draft review and teams preview courtesy of me - Default teams (in case of a non-submission) to be submitted A bit of housekeeping - I've decided to postpone the draft until the end of season one. We'll have three small drafts - one with 2013 ND blokes (snake order with r1 being reverse ladder), another with 2014 ND blokes (linear order with r1 being decided by an NBA style draft lottery with r2 being reverse ladder) and another with all unpicked players (reverse ladder order) - It's become too much of a hassle to include retired players for this season so they're out. It might mean some go 1-2 players short, but none of the retirees were picked early anyway. I do apologise for this - the one bloke who gets screwed is me as it invalidates Brennan - who, iirc, was the highest picked retiree - How do we want to go about retention for further seasons? Most teams have 32-34 players, so do we want to say, keep 20-25 retained and then the rest go into the uncontracted draft? We certainly need to have some sort of a retention system in place given the amount of teams who drafted youth on this proviso. Perhaps we could do - up to 20 retained blokes in draft. That is - they're nominated before the draft and locked in before the draft - you've got to use the pick in the draft that corresponds with the round they were used in the main draft. I.E. I'd have to lock in NicNat with R1 if I wanted to keep him and say Sloane with R3. But I could also lock in Tom Mitchell with round 28 which I used on him. Keen to get some thoughts Also keen to get some lineups for the pre season which'll start whenever. Happy to help anyone with lineups but it's pretty much common sense. Gun that this is so close to being up and running. Could be a big drawcard in getting more "Nullabor" staters here if it's successful.
Jager, MP and Shagger could be issues with inactivity. Can chase the first two easily and see if they're keen (if MP isn't I'll give Heef a choice as to whether he goes it alone or not though, ofc!) but Shagger could be a tough one to track down.
I'm happy to try going it alone until Alessi returns, but will probably need a bit of a hand as I'm not au fait with tactics, FFXwhatever or half of our players. I'll give it a bit of a go though.

To do before the season? Lol im not going to go into a season with less players in my squad than others thats just farcical.
Yeh good point ill auto pick them to try and not disadvantage all of you but not give a retrospective advantage
Yeah pre-season draft to finish it off IMO. Some teams picked retirees and will need to re-pick and some teams didn't finish. Won't take long if people need 3 players max.
