Which is what? I have the game. It plays differently on different patches (rather remarkably so, theres an extreme offside bug in the vanilla version), If the database is different then player stats and attributes will be different.
Yeah, probably best to try and team up. No idea tbh. I've got a whole bunch of patches, a lot of them unofficial. I'm 99% sure it's running with the original player database though. Football Manager.

Is there any sort of way I can look at player attributes ,like is there a document out there which means I don't have to downlaod the whole game?
They might have something of use on say www.fm-britain.co.uk but I don't think there is what you are looking for.
