I've really enjoyed this season. I've watched all in one rust over the last week so maybe that's helped.
GTFO. Just because the season was so dire doesn't mean the ending was good. Worst kill. Worst ending. Raging so hard right now.
The episode wasn't terrible but it was a shitty finale. - Debra is an OG but she dies in such a weak way - Not sure why Dexter dumpd her body - No resolutions (or storyline at all) for Batista, Quinn and Masuka Dexter still being alive somewhat saved the show for me.
So wish they had've gone down the LaGuerta discovering what Dexter really was story arc this season and then having all of his friends chase after him etc. Would have been so, so much better.
Because he killed her! Ritual. I wonder what the actual plan was for Masuka's daughter. You could've had the exact same season as is without her; she didn't affect anything at all. I'm sure they had a plan for her at one stage...
So Dexter basically sails into a hurricane, survives then becomes a lumberjack. Just about sums up how shit the final season was right there.
Yeah but why. Wouldn't you want your sister to have a proper memorial? And yeah I assumed Masuka's daughter would at least slightly play some part in the storyline.
Can't really see where the spin-off comes into play now either. Miami Metro would be a decent show but it'd essentially just be Dexter without Dexter.
