    I used to apply it to rugby league all the time though to explain why sometimes it's worth playing someone out of position even when they are the best in their preferred position at the club.

    In league terms, it's when a player might be the best centre in the game, but his team also has the second and third best centre in the game, of which both are poor on the wing. If the best centre was also a good winger, it would be advantageous, comparitively, to use the best centre on the wing despite it not being his best position. A good example is Qld's full strength team. Inglis is arguably the best centre we have, yet we use him on the wing because Tate and Hodges are both poor on the wing.

    To answer the question, yes they do change my opinions of clubs. I now hope that Canberra lose because of how much Julian over-rates them. I also hate Manly more due to the manly crowd at rleague.

    Oh yeah, they're the worst. Also hate Souths players a lot more after I've talked to Sonic Star.
