    I think it was. Pretty hard to get a game with that calibur of batsmen. Especially with my activity ranking of like 70. Not saying I'm shit at OD or anything - just saying it's unlikely i'll play RT

    I put Torres in there because he's a quality batsman. His form is average but that'll probably change.

    Dorn should be in that side really. Averaging over 50 with the bat, and it's definitely preferable to have two spinners in the side so they can bowl in tandem in overs 30-40.

    You should really let people work out their ideal balances for themselves, else you may as well pick the sides (as long as no one's taking the piss, that is).

    They don't have to listen to me, but I'll give my opinion whenever I like, thank you very much. One of the main reasons I like running CricSim is so I can give my thoughts on selection; take that away and the whole thing will probably go under.

    But that's more than a selection thing you're telling us, you're basically telling us the balance for any and every team in ODers. It'd be good to learn some of this by experimentation rather than being told - it's not quite the same as selecting a particular player.

    Interesting, the standardised averages tend to suggest Ritchie has outbowled Bots in OD cricket so far.

    It's not quite as true on your home pitch, although there's as little medium pace assistance as there is spin assistance and you've used Heads and Storer in that role (along with Emm obv); it's a wonder they've done so well really as they're quite unsuited to bowling then.
