Sweet donate the gold - technically only need 18 to buy the business. So only need 13 gold. Up to you if you're the handler of the gold affairs () or if you just donate it all to me. Something we'll need to discuss is the wage system - I have a few ideas.
Wages So there's a couple of options. Some more viable than others. Value given by wage Obviously I'll post the job offer at 1 CAD so no one else takes it but this system will work by paying you the X amount through wages based on your production levels. So your wage will increase each day. Advantages: You get the money straight away (i.e when you work) Disadvantages: It'll always be a day behind. Your wages will reflect your production level from the day before. There's no way around this using this system. You run the risk of working and your wages haven't been adjusted for that day (particularly if you work at random times each day) - This issue can be addressed by donating the remainder of the money to you on days this happens but just another thing I have to look out for. Items have to be sold for me to have cash. Something which could be an issue to start with. I'll use some of my gold to have some cash to address this. Value given by donation Job offers get posted at 1 CAD and stay at that (unless we choose to reward gold payers - will discuss below). The X amount based on your production each day will be paid through donation each day. Advantages: Unlike the other option that is a day behind - this one won't be. No issues with working and not getting your correct wage for the day. Disadvantages: You don't get the money straight away unless of course I'm on. You have to wait till I'm on to donate the money to you (obviously) So those are the two options. People to tell me which is best. Now there's also the issue of how much gets paid. Do we run the business at cost (giving you the full value of what you produce) and then rely on people to donate gold along the way i.e buy some gold with their money OR do we say have it so pay out is say 50% and 50% is kept by the business which is used for gold. The latter seems the better option imo. Obviously it doesn't have to be 50/50 but yeah. This way people also could still donate gold if they want. Another thing: do we reward those that donate gold? i.e either donate the gold back + a %/ pay say 1 CAD extra on wages until they get the value of the gold donated back in cash + a %. This option only works if the business isn't running at cost. Personally I reckon: Value given by donation + % to person/ % to business + Gold donators rewarded back. Obviously once we get to Q5 grain + Q1 food businesses will be running at cost.
The only issue with the donating the rest of your wages each day is it avoids us paying tax. Yay for us but it may be against the rules and we could be found. Gonna check if it's mentioned anywhere.

Ok so just created a quick lil spreadsheet so everyone knows how much gold/ cash the business has and the inflows/ outflows of it. It'll get reset every week (7 days) and the closing balance will be transferred to the opening balance for the following week and so on. Other main reason is so I know how much cash and gold I personally have. Ok so please discuss what you think the best idea in terms of wages/ bonus for gold donators/ split should be overnight. I have added 30 jobs (excessive I know but just to make sure I'm covering everyone) at 1 CAD each - which is to discourage randoms but if we get randoms at that wage then they're suckers. Personally like I said I'm thinking of doing the Value given by donation + % to person/ % to business + Gold donators rewarded back but that can be changed as obviously the 1st option is a day behind anyway. So you'll need to use a ticket. Plan for this because if you have a battle for your home country you'll need to be in your country to fight so do this before flying type thing to save having to buy heaps of tickets. Same with buying things from your country's market (in your currency). Not too sure yet but depending on how long it takes people to accept you into Canada the business may pay for the ticket expenses incurred. Also discuss what split we should have - since running at cost just doesn't seem like the best of ideas at this stage.
