Hard one for me to choose. Being a metal head I love the 80s and early 90s the most but as a whole I favour the 1970s. Was a decade before my time as I was born in 1986 but having the chance to explore the 1970s material I have to say that produced numerous gems I never tire of like Floyds Animals and Wish You Were Here, Sabbath with Paranoid, Vol 4 and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, AC/DC with Highway to Hell, Powerage etc.

Just curious to what everyone elses favourite musical decade is.

Forgot to add more that the 70s for the punk rock movement which would be extremely influential in how thrash and extreme metal would form.

A few years back I might have raged at all the decades, but these days I don't really care, I like stuff from all of them. And anything I don't like I just don't listen to. So I choose all of them.

The 60's and 70's for me - covering Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Sex Pistols, the Clash, Black Sabbath etc.

They were probably the most significant years in regards to the evolution of rock music IMO.

    60's/70's as well.

The amount of shit that comes out these days just makes this era horrible.

90s for sure! Grunge, alternative hip hop, catchy nostalgic pop songs, alternative rock. By far and away my favourite decade.

Defo 60's. At their best; Beatles, Dylan, Hendrix, Cream, Creedence, Neil Young...
