The cards are the players. If you have better cards/players, you have a better team to play with. You can play offline or online.
So basically the team works as an extra team that you can use for friendlies/online play etc? Think I've got it now. I'm asking all of these questions because I'm probably going to purchase the game - I'm playing 08 atm and for the price I can get the game for, its worth upgrading.
Not an extra team, you use it as your team when you go into the Ultimate Team section. It's essentially Football Manager without all the intricate stuff, and you actually play with the players.
Does anyone else find H2H ridiculously easy? I reckon it'll start getting harder now but I've gone through every division with ease so far, in div 5 now. I'm pretty much always Napoli, they are 4 and a half star but their front 3 are as good as any team in the world. Lavezzi with the pace and dribbling, Hamsik with the passing and long shots and Cavani with the finishing and long shots. Plus the midfield is quite pacy. Only thing is the defence, they only play with 3 at the back and all are in the 70's.

We play different styles of football which is pretty awesome to vs. You have better skill on the players and tend to dribble alot more, while i like to pass my way round the park. Good 3 games and the title for S1 is very close 13-10 in favour of me. I need 1 more win to secure the title and you need 2 outright wins a draw in either game screws you over as i've got a 8+ goal diff.
Yeah, I can't count how many times I tried to dribble it out of our box though which resulted in a goal to you. Deadset, nobody in our team can keep the ball inside our penalty box
Yea its quite amazing how many goals a got from you trying to dribble it out I'd hazard a guess to say our attack is pretty phenomenal but out defense is pretty suspect . Will have to give you a few more games some time and finally see who is the best come end of S1.
