Fifa 13 Demo just came out on PC and will be out soon on Xbox and PS3 Anyone actually downloaded the PC demo yet? Mines at around 70%
Usually so keen on this year but not this year. I think it's because its been my first year having a full time job as well as studying part-time. Will probs still end up buying it though.
Probably will download the demo when it's out on xbox. Pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, a bit steep at £48 but the normal edition was £45 I think so I can justify a few more quid. Watched some of KSI's stuff on it and it looks good though.
From what I've seen it's exactly the same as FIFA 12 but with minigames, better goalkeepers and better shooting. They're also claiming better AI etc, but that's what they say every year. I'm not gonna be one of those people who complain about EA releasing the same game every year though. FIFA 12 was pretty damn good and I wouldn't want it to change significantly. I'm happy with the slight improvements they're making.
The biggest changes from what I've read are in fixing up career mode realism wise, adding international jobs in manager careers and implementing playmaking and better touches in attack. Oh and player collisions have been cleaned up. All they need to do cos 12 was great.
The skill moves are impossible to do and a pain in the ass. A controller is way better for sports games. The only positive I can think of for playing sports games on PC is the resolution but most sports games are ported from console versions these days and so yeah, playing games like Fifa on the PC isn't worth it these days.
I used to play a huge amount of PES6 on PC because of the modding options and realistic gameplay. Once it was fully patched it was a far, far better game than the console versions of both PES and FIFA. The PES series has gone downhill in the current gen though, whereas FIFA has been good since FIFA 08.
Yep this is what I do although I have an absolutely shithouse controller. It doesn't even have an analogue/joystick/whatever the fuck it's called; just a random keypad thingy that is slightly flexible when you push it and is therefore classed a hybrid.
