I remember discussing something with Cribb about this ages ago, and I can't remmeber if it was what he gave an OK to or not, but I was planning on making a blackjack game you could use your vCash on. I know I also discussed poker, and I'm not sure if that's what he gave the OK to do or not... So Cribb when you wake up or whatever let me know Anyway, to the point: http://www.cricsim.com/blackjack/play.html Just a prototype I put together quickly, and I might further it to have a login with your cricsim forum account, use vCash for betting and make it look a lot nicer (as well as making it a lot more secure...) I was thinking of doing a poker one, for multiple players, but that'd take a lot more work, so I'd probably never get around to ending it. If you're bored try out the prototype let me know if you find any blatant issues. (and no, you can't split or insure etc. You just deal, hit, stand)
Just the basics - You get two cards to start off with (6,S refers to 6 of spades etc) J,Q,K, count for 10, A counts for 1 or 11. Aim is to get higher than the dealer, with 21 as the highest. Any higher and you lose. If you think what you have isn't enough, for example if you have 16, then click 'hit', which lets you draw a card. When you're done click stand and then both player's cards will be revealed. And yeah this is pretty gun Flack
It's actually pretty shit, as it's insecure, ugly and not user friendly. But that's what a quick prototype does, I guess.
