I waited a week or so to post this so it didn't look like I was just here to whore a few members. No idea if anyone's played FootballIdentity before (or even heard of it), but it's a very similar game to what's going on here, so I figured that everyone/most people here will enjoy it. Basically it's a soccer/football 'sim' and every team has one manager and 11 players, each controlled by a user. Then for about an hour twice a week teams play against each other in the league. It depends where you live and what league you play in for when each game is, but I'll list the Aussie league times right now for each state in Australia (for non-Aussies I'll list the UTC time, because you never know who can make the times or not). When you're playing against other active teams the game is really fun and challenging, which is what the Aussie league really lacks right now (which may actually be helpful to anyone who does sign up, because bot games are quite fun for the first few seasons and a good way to learn the game), and as they say activity breeds activity. The game is really unique in this way though, because no other game allows you to play an 11 vs 11 game (I know FIFA does have the be a pro online mode, but not often is there a 11 v 11 game and when there is the lag is often horrendous), and there's obviously more of a social side to the game than FIFA. Anyways, the Australian league is looking quite dire right now (we have 3 teams out of a possible 12) so I was hoping we might be able to get a few teams going from here. We added a league age cap last season so everyone will be playing against characters a season older, but the difference shouldn't be too much. My plan is that I can temporarily manage the first team and then someone who's made a character in that team can purchase another slot (The FIDA, which is sort of like the FFA, will give you the credits to do it so it won't cost anything) to make a manager and manage the second team, someone from the second team manages the first team, etc. (that is if we get more than one team), unless someone else wants to manage rather than create a player. Here are the times for the Australian league for each state/territory. 1A (top division) is on Wednesdays and Sundays and 2A is Mondays and Thursdays. If we get a team going we'll probably play in 1A: UTC: 11:00 AM WA: 7:00 PM SA/NT: 8:30 PM VIC/NSW/QLD/TAS: 9:00 PM They're (finally) introducing national teams soon and Australia doesn't have too many players, so mostly everyone should get a run out in the U21s at least. If we can get a team going we'll probably want a 4-4-2 formation, so 1 GK, 2 SDs, 2 CDs, 2 SMs, 2 CMs and 2 CFs. Do you have to sign up for the country you want to play the league in? Like can a Kiwi play in the Aussie league.
Just had to go for a bit. Nah, just sign up as your real life nationality (or you can sign up as the nationality of the country you live in, either is fine). I'll take over a team within the next 5-10 mins and sign you all, just have to let my current team know what's up. Also, just in case someone doesn't read the rules, you can;t have multiple accounts.
Just need you guys to create a character and make positions, got Logan in and he's an ACM so we need one less CM now. The team is Goulburn Gaol FC btw, for now at least.
Haha, that's the most I can give out to 18 year olds. Next season it'll increase to 200k, then to 300k, etc. Also wages only affect training, you don't actually get that money a week (unless you do transfer to bank or something instead of training, but it's not worth doing that yet).
Just train. How much you increase in training depends on the wages. Just to add on to what I said before, you get 1/7 of your wages if you transfer to bank (which isn't worth it at 100k wages)
