Nah, that's hardly the best attitude. Just stay active for a bit more and soon someone (the Stickies) will sign you.
Can hardly blame the lads in fairness. Most people are just being cuntish towards him. Obviously someone who is keen to be part of this and looks like he will be active and yet no one seems at all interested in him. I get the there is the 25 man squad quota to make sure inactive blokes are chased up, but it would also be stupid to lose new people because of it.
Yeah, I can agree with that. I don't think he's done anything wrong to warrant this sort of reaction either.
I think he may have made bit of a first impression that made people go "ehhhh" and hold off signing him for now.
he was awfully dire in some thread about being called a paki or something and said someone is a terrorist or something i don't remember exactly but it just screamed dire subcontinental. still surprised the stickies aren't willing to sign him when they're not blessed with numbers anyway. He can just be the 23rd player if he doesn't suit structure.
Most of those things didn't happen though. Someone else called him a terrorist straight of the bat and there were a bunch of guys looking to troll him. He just reacted to one post at the start, but since then has ignored the useless trolls and been pretty decent.
I think everyone has kinda been dancing around what Skippos crassly pointed out though. If BoyBrumby joined as a batting allrounder and made 24 points, he would no doubt be signed by now, even if he didn't actually reveal who he was. I don't think it's actually a racist thing, but a.. well lets say "culturalist" thing against people who post like they're from CWF or PakPassion. The Stickies should definitely sign him up though, unless they want to admit those are the reasons they don't want the guy.
Quite frankly, I'm just sick of signing spinning allrounders who become BS-standard and then leave because they're not bowling or batting in the position they would be at other clubs.
