Man that would be so, so, so dire. Worst five-eighth in history if it happened IMO. He was actually named there once but it was a smokescreen for Marshall to make his debut.

Anyway, in a way I'm glad Marshall is out because he's not a halfback's arsehole. Neither is Morris though so it's not great.

 

From what I've heard, pretty average.

He always tries to do too much to prove that he's above the level he's playing apparently - did the same thing for Ippy last year.

Frankly though, he's a five-eighth as well. We don't actually have a halfback at the club in any capacity. Marshall's a five-eighth, Morris is a hooker, Lewis is a five-eighth, Moltzen and Hanbury are both fullbacks (although I'd trust them both enough at five-eighth or centre.. not halfback though), Waters is a hooker and Dunley's injured (and not really good enough yet anyway).

I think the best halfback at the club is Farah... I've been firmly against it before but I'd probably be looking at Farah at halfback with Morris at hooker and Marshall at five-eighth, at full strength. It's far from ideal and Farah wouldn't like it as it'd decrease his chance of getting the hooker gig for NSW but he showed more at halfback when he was there than Marshall has in terms of actually organising and structuring a team as a halfback should.
