    thepoisoning isn't my theoryy.

    someone over at the westeros forums made a convincing case for tywin being poisoned by oberyn using book quotes and all sorts. Most theories get shredded there but that one was well done and became widely accepted.

    I don't remember many of the quotes but I do remember pycelle removed most of his insides and stuffed him with herbs, which should have stopped the smell if it had a normal cause.

    I always thought the Oberyn poisoning Tywin was wrong tbf. If it was true and Oberyn went to KL with the intention of getting the confession from Gregor AND killing Tywin he would have told Doran.

    But when Doran was talking about plotting the downfall of House Lannister, poisoning just Tywin doesn't sound like the way he would go about it. If it was planned between them I think both Doran and Oberyn would want Tywin to be the last Lannister to die.

    Just read the transcript of a reading at a con from the upcoming World of Ice and Fire book, which is written like a history book. GRRM read the history of the Westerlands and a blow by blow account of the Reyne and Tarbeck rebellion.

    Damn Tywin is one ruthless mofo. The series doesn't do his reputation justice and his old man was even more of a chump than we've been led to believe.

    Apparently after the series is finished (lol) he's going to write his own Silmarillion type book which will detail the mythology (as opposed to this history type book coming soon). Will be so gun.

    Cunt should spend less time writing fake history books (as cool as it will be) and more time writing book six though.

    I get the feeling hes restless and doesnt like to settle on 1 project. World builders disease (as I like to call it) affects alot of fantasy writers. Considering it started as a trilogy im not surprised hes got it

    It would be funny if true. But still, I think it's more likely he's just a cunt obsessed with climbing the social ladder and getting himself a hot redheaded Tully.

    "The Sun" could refer to Quentyn as well, since the sun is the Martell sigil and he "rises" in the west and "sets"/dies in Meereen, the east.
