    Then we can go with both Callum and Nova.

    Haha, indeed. If Deane plays it should be this, IMO:

    8. Laing (or Ridd, with Ridd at 10)
    9. Farnswoth
    10. Whicker
    11. Blunder

    Nova and Deane shouldn't both play.

    I was actually thinking of that... only I thought Nova would fit into it too somehow... I think in my mind with Smith dropping out I didnt include Deane...

    Hence why I put Laing ahead of him :)

    I don't know what Luffers is doing with Laing and Nova... I thought he was giving them a game each.

    Nah, IIRC that's just what I said he should do; I don't think he ever comitted to it. :p

    It should be noted that I wasn't suggesting it because it'd be "fair" or anything, but because you'll need extra bowling against Victoria (Callum is suited) and extra batting against New Zealand (Nova is suited).

    Yeh but if you play Nova and Deane then Nova would be the 4th best bowler. Hence Nova shouldn't be in contention to play with Deane at all!

    Yeah, I wasn't suggesting otherwise. I was merely suggesting that the best team to beat Victoria had Callum in it and the best team to beat New Zealand had Nova in it. I'm not going to give you any hints in taking on NSW Second XI though... :p
