Lol. The market was very different to what it is now Ged, a lot of new players have come and gone. I don't see a prospective players list being the be all and end of all of a side either. The Gamblers came last despite having a solid team but it's the contribution of those members in a social sense that has made them good. You just can't handle the fact that CricSim originated from somewhere where you weren't involved. You seem to cry every time it gets mentioned as if you're poor Jimmy missing out on the football team cause you aren't involved.
The quality of the players won't be a big factor if I admit new teams. I made that mistake with the Lions. I'll be looking for teams that I think might offer something unique in terms of their image, who would have a loyal base and not lose all their players the following the season, and who wouldn't put a strain on any existing clubs. There's no way I'll even think about new teams unless we have a ridiculous amount of new signups or we change the squad sizes and re-think the ALC concept.
Has much as i hate the Gamblers, i'd want them to stay. As Gemmel kind said (somewhere) they add to the league.
If there was no Gamblers, who would everyone hate? We need a club which everyone hates. Makes our failures more interesting.
