You could take two players from other provincial teams that aren't making their current provincial team, who would you take? For Qld, I think that first and foremost I'd want Cribb due to being an opener and an allrounder. It would allow us to move Manera to 3 and give us a better bowling option than Perry. Secondly I'd want a fast bowling allrounder. I'd probably take Johns I suppose. Line up would be l33t. We could also do with a back up keeper I suppose, but those two would help the first team the most. 1. Cribb 2. Vago 3. Manera 4. Gemmell 5. Downpipes 6. Perry 7. Johns 8. Webber 9. King 10. Funkotron 11. Man It'd have such better balance to it.
If only there were a QLD supporting member off this site who had yet to sign up for CricSim and could potentially help our lack of keepers. If only this members name started with Q and what not etc etc.
For GB I would take the exact same two. GB is in serious need of a spinner and coudl do with the strength in the batting order and Cribb fits that nicely. With myself or Nova being the allrounder options I feel Johns would do a far better job than both of us and at 8 he would add a lot of depth to the batting order. I would go with: 1. Cribb 2. Goodfellow 3. Lufferman 4. McGrath 5. Short 6. Hornby 7. Graham 8. Johns 9. Farnsworth 10. Whicker 11. Blunder
Johns is an allround-allrounder. He couldn't pick Tyson because Tyson actually makes the NSW team. There's actually no-one NSW would take out off Qld's backup list. I'd consider playing Meister from Victoria I guess, but I reckon he'll make their team this season anyway.
Heh. It's funny, because both myself and Johns would have been eligible for GB if we wanted to play for them. I actually did play for GB at one point, and Johns's brother put himself down as GB. I think Johns played a game for GB back on Sidhe, too.
Yeah MJA Johns is in our squad. With that team I posted, if the guys continued their current BS form, I would say that is a fair old side like.
Monkeywrench and Olsen are pretty good players TBF. I can see them causing an upset or two in OD cricket when you only need a few players to stand up in each game.

Grrr, read the first post properly. Vago and Perry actually get picked for provinces, so you can't take them. You'd have to take, for example, Meister and Delonge.
