So good. Thanks a lot Heef. Was a tad confused by my role at the beginning of the game but it was the best role I've ever had by quite some way once I got my head around it.

Eds was your dino hits just luck or did you have some sort of way of knowing?

Would be good to have some feedback on the mechanics. It kinda turned it into a combination of Mafia and the Alien game that people got bored with.

As a contribution to this, no one used locations to their fullest effect. Jabba maybe got the closest. People needed to keep on the move a lot more.

I'll try and do a player ranking tomorrow.

Wish I could've taken Mousey with me on the choppa. But Dodgson is a scumbag and he defo wasn't waiting another night.

Also I think Weldone did about as well as he could Day 1 to keep us alive. I coasted on that for way too long.

Key thing was that town never got their head around trying to work out how they were dealing with the fences. Their best weapon is the lynch vote and it was taken away from them by neglecting that part of the game.

A combo. Number11 was effectively a pseudo-paleontologist. So, the InGen group had two bites of the cherry each round. Eds could DNA corpses as well - which is why he went from having loads of info at the start, to having none towards the end and town seemingly not giving a shit about it.

Best Mafia player was probably Ritchie. No one investigated him all game. At all. Not touched - ever. Logan tried to investigate him n0, but was killed by Weldone - the only person who could have killed Logan straight up.

    Ah gutted.

It was once I'd been enraged (and people risked death by visiting me) that I also got told I could then only win with maf. Thankfully being outed as relatively harmless helped. But Eds... :(

Tried to hint so hard to maf that I wanted to side with them, noone acknowledged :(

    "Join us Prez"
"If you really wanted me you'd APPROACH ME OUTSIDE OF THE THREAD"
"You've made a grave mistake Prez"

    GAAAAH

You were dead if you hadn't left. You'd used up all your protection and Ritchie was coming for you. It was the right call.

Personally I dislike mafia when it becomes less about 'who are the baddies' and more about 'how do we kill them'. I remember getting particularly frustrated with ACOK mafia for the same reason. S' probably just me though.

    WP Eds and morgie

Mafia had the same challenge here as well though. They knew who they had to kill, but with the fences that killing was largely restricted.

I really enjoyed the concept of the map and fences in this Mafia game. Added an additional challenge to it.

We would have lost at the end if town had been led by someone who was interested in scumhunting. The process of elimination would have given Morgie/Ritchie as targets. It was pretty much my only concern beyond my terrible killing abilities.

Haha sheesh Escath so sour in the QT thread. Perhaps if your never getting your way in these games, it may be the way you approach them thats the issue?

Yes I lead people on logical fallacies and shenanigans, but it only works if you play the right strings and push at the right moments.

If you come out with a hammer every game no one who doesn't want to be shoved will follow.

Yeah the fences absolutely did my head in. We must have missed a hell of a lot of kills on nights because we had NFI where people were.

Thats why Eds survived so long, we couldn't find him at one point. By the time we had killed the Nurse we had run out of time to get him.

Yeah I'm majorly surprised no-one went for Ritchie. Was super quiet all game.

Overall I liked the game mechanics, but like most of them they weren't the best used.

Another thing is, that if Sledger had played properly I'd have been entirely nullified.
