Couldn't find the ideas thread around here, but what about a 'Challenge Shield' kind of like what the Ranfurly Shield is here for rugby, Whoever holds the shield at the time contests it against the other opposition, and whoever wins get the shield etc. So like even if you didn't go good in the season there is always a chance of getting some silverwear? Then maybe before the season certain ALC clubs can have a chance? Thoughts Rob?
Thats actually a pretty epic idea, There would have to be rules because ALC teams could play there BS team, But you could base the teams on last season?
We have seen no interest in it yet but it sounds pretty cool, I like the idea of having to win 2 outta the 3 games means not just your 1st 11 has to be good but you have to have a bunch of active guys for HC then your ALC team. Hope Cribbs has a few words on this, Would be pretty cool thing that will add alot.
