That really was a ridiculously amazing innings from Theo. His one day record up until this point was really quite poor as well. Good support from Bannerman and late hitting from Son too.

Whicker was amazing with the new cherry up front for the Brits though, and if Deane hadn't taken those three middle order wickets it could have been a 320+ score easily.

  11. Farny AP Farnsworth

I swear I took more than one wicket...

edit-nevermind, you just pasted that over twice.

And to think we were rubbish at OD'ers.

Whicker was decent for you IIRC, but Theo was terrible. Picked for Victoria basically on potential/reputation alone TBH; paid off though.

Yeah, Whicker was okay but his figures were always made to look better by taking out lower order players going for a slog. Put it this way, he managed 11 bowling points but only 2 player of the season points for us, so he was hardly a matchwinner.

    Victoria batted really well.

Yeah, that's actually pretty important in one day cricket on CricSim though; bad death bowling has often seeing tailenders score at 12 an over. You always knew that if you got them 6 down or so, Whicker would wipe them out for not many more runs.
