    It was the first session on Day 1.

    He wouldn't be playing at the Gamblers anyway. He's conclusively shown throughout his career that he's useless if he doesn't open the batting, and despite being a very good bat when he's in form his last two seasons have been poor - his last being diabolical. Go through the old Gamblers subforum threads from when they thought they were getting him; he was listed in ALC every time. I'd be extremely surprised if he didn't end up in the Ravens team by the end of the season as he's one of our best bats when he's at the top of his game, but excluding his effort this round, that hasn't happened for a while and Gemmell knows this too.

    So basically, stop trying to pull that shit, ****.
