    OK so is role-claiming 100% illegal in this? Seems to be a normal part of most mafia games, normally that's how you have your best shot at working out who is mafia by looking at claims then counter-claims... seems silly. Plus normally a mass claim will catch a few idiots out, can't see why it isn't allowed.

    You can claim a role, as in what your role does, but not a character and try not to explicitly state who you are.

    Being such a big game, it's a different dynamic as well.

    And claiming specific characters is too h4x - it gives people with good MK knowledge a large advantage.

    Okay, all cleared up with this now.

    By the way, I might not be on when the voting starts tomorrow but 100% do NOT no lynch. We have lynches to spare - the game will almost certainly not be lost if we misvote (i.e. vote off a townie), so if we fail to lynch we are just giving the mafia a guaranteed kill and better odds.

    Also, guys you can talk throughout the night phase. There's no restriction, it's essentially a day phase but without voting.

    I'm interested to see how this game is received. It's far from a standard mafia setup. It has roles which are for more advanced levels of play and the theme adds a little more excitement. There's a lot more going on at night and everyone has a more important role compared to a general set-up. Once you get the hang of it after a few day/nights, it'll be more challenging and at the same time enjoyable than a more basic setup.

    I'm not saying this is the wrong idea, but obviously there's a limit to how much we can do this. And not knowing how many of each role there are, it's a bit tricky to work out how long we can do it for.
