4 minutes: The opening phases of play have all been from the Escath XV. Ceaseless pressure on the Thunder line, and it's no surprise when Siege Morgan busts through a pile of bodies close to the line to score. Jake Loughman misses the conversion from wide out.

Escath XV 5 - 0 Thunder RFC.

 

5 - 20 minutes. The Escath XV are immediately back on the attack against a lacklustre Thunder outfit. Some solid defense from Michael Chung and Tom Delonge prevent the Escath XV from touching down again.

 

37 minutes: The Escath XV finally have some pressure placed on them, and my, how important is this for the Thunder RFC? Completely against the run of play and at the first real opportunity they have, Captain Regan Hutchinson breaks the Escath defensive line. And he touches down!! He's levelled the scores and if Scoble puts this over then he will put Thunder ahead completely against the run of play...

56 minutes - Escath XV defend 2 minutes incessant pressure from Thunder on the Escath Try line. Eventually, Thunder knock the ball on and Escath XV clear their lines.

 

58 minutes - And that sterling defense proves vital as from the turnover, the Escath XV rapidly head down the other end of the pitch. He can't tackle, but still TRY to Lucas Schaw (Escath) from Open Play. Missed tackle from John McGrath. Successful Conversion from Jake Loughman.
