  8. Storer BA Storer

    Playing out of position FTL.

  9. Skippos SM Morgan

You're no worse playing at fb than chb. In modern AFL the traditional roles of key backs are gone, and you just have two tall backs taking the two tallest forwards - e.g. Nathan Bock and Warnock at GC, Bock's clearly the 'chb' and Warnock the 'fb' yet if they play Melbourne, Bock will take Clark who's the FF and play at FB, and Warnock would take Watts at CHF and play at CHB - but their roles will still be that of CHB and FB despite the swapped position. In short, chb and fb no longer really exist in AFL, it's just best defender on best and 2nd best on 2nd best forward - and the sim reflects this.

You can't use playing out of position as an excuse for being terrible in short.

Why in the hell was I playing on the half back flank? Like seriously. Of course I am going to lose my match up... I did mighty well for playing so much out of my natural position...

    centre back flank

  12. Skippos SM Morgan

But seriously - Alej did the team and I think he added you and blake in this round. You've played a lot of footy on the wing so moving to the half back flank wasn't a bad option, guys like Brett Deledio and Brendon Goddard regularly play wing and half back flank. You were moved there to rebound and bring an attacking element to the defence and you did that, you weren't really required to keep your opponent honest, just to be effective out of defence. I reckon you played alright.

  13. The Half Back JW Taylor

In what became a bit of a clinic, I'm not sure that what J Taylor did to Ullungura should be entirely legal. - 91m from 4 to 95.

Yeah tbh I didn't feel like I had a bad game at all. But I do feel like I could have done more in the forward line.
