Yep. Meant to post this before. Mind you there are work-arounds but they entirely negate the point about being user-friendly, at least by Magic's standards.
Says the bloke who still hasn't provided the specs of this supposed $500 PC that "blows the PS4 out of the water". You're missing the point, it doesn't matter why that it is, it just matters that it is. Most people with PS4's don't want to be continually upgrading their hardware. I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand... It's extra steps that quite frankly I don't want to to take. I want to put the disc in and I want my Playstation to say hey dumbass you need to download this shit press X. DONE! Easy... not sure why it's so hard to understand the premise of a hassle free gaming machine. I play games purely for enjoyment & socially. I don't want to be spending time upgrading my hardware and manually updating my software because it doesn't mean enough for me to justify that extra time and effort. No matter how minimal or cost effective you want to argue it is.
When the price cuts happen in a month or two I will post the specs. And I'll get benchmarks for BF4. Then we'll compare it to a PS4. Of course it matters. With the new API, PC gamers will have to upgrade their systems far less frequently. The direct communication attainable on consoles is the only thing that keeps them even remotely competitive with PC. It's also why developers love them. Fortunately the days of crappy console ports and ridiculously time-consuming editions that have to be completely re-written are nearly over. I get that, but you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. Updating drivers is piss-easy. If you can install a program you can update your drivers. It takes 2 minutes.

Well im browing Cricsim from my Double monitor set up, of a monitor AND a LCD flatscreen, so not really x) Both console and PC are fine l0l. using my next-gen console now x)
Gave it a blast last night. Pretty awesome game. When I saw videos of it, I thought it looked like a game you could get bored of pretty fast and couldn't understand the high ratings. Having played it, I was definitely wrong.
Definitely. I haven't had much time to play recently but if you're truly keen on getting one, now is a pretty good time to get one with quite a few top notch games already out or releasing within a month.
Diablo 3 still the only game I would get for PS4 right now. Do you need a PS+ subscription on all accounts on the PS4 or is it console wide?

I just played GTA5 on PS3, I'm actually amazed at how well the game runs. Compared to GTA4 & RDR it looks brilliant, and seems to perform better. HDR lighting solution?
I'm happy with my PS4. Will be a lot happier when some of the better games come out. And also the controllers are very hit and miss.
Check Trials Fusion out. It came out today. For a slightly cheaper game (given its nature) it looks really decent. If it's something you're into. Track maker as well for creative people out there, also means unlimited content. I saw someone's course they made on youtube, very decent. Had the camera angles changing and everything. Sorta made it 3d I guess (since it's a 2d, 3d game). Definitely something you can spend hours playing. Sure no Infamous second son but pretty good for its genre.
