    Also just noticed that Alam is down as a middle order batsman. I felt sure he was an opener. That means we've actually only got two openers (Kuhn/Wasim) and much prefer Wasim to be at three. Rollocks.

    He's opened a couple of times for Pakistan but he's exclusively a 3-5 man domestically. They just batted him out of position.

    Well, Fawad Alam is in the database as a #3 batsman, so he should be fine to bat 3, or even open if you need him to. It's not a big drama.

    It's not like he failed when he opened for Pakistan anyway; he scored a big hundred on debut there IIRC and averages over 50 in the position.
