Norman is abysmal. Hoffman is having another shocker. Hodges is just too predictable. On the positive side, Gillett had a great game for the most part, other than trying to force the miracle passes.
Had to lol @ the talking up of Gillett. Couldn't pick up a ball to score a try and had a shocking piece of defence on Bailey when he scored that try.
His attack was disgraceful. Gave away an 8 point try, and being behind by 8 is so much worse than being behind by 6.
Wtf do you expect him to do? Did you actually see when and where he was getting the ball? He had fuck all space, fuck all time, and fuck all opportunity. What was so disgraceful about his attack? What exactly should he have done differently in those circumstances? Every time he got the ball there was a wall of defence in front of him. I don't blame the bloke for running across field a few times in those instances and trying to link up because the fucking halves weren't doing shit, except throwing forward passes and hospital balls. Norman and Wallace are the problem. They play with no depth, can barely throw a chest pass, so it's no surprise the outside backs aren't manufacturing points, which isn't their job in the first place.
In terms of attack it was pretty horrendous, mate. Each team produced some of the worst, misguided, unorganised sets I've seen all season. There were forward passes gallore and both sides turned the ball over early in the count many times.
