This is just about the most complete performance by a lock forward that I've seen in a long time from Sam Burgess.
That's about as blatant of a cheap shot as you will ever see. There wasn't even a hint of Thomas Burgess receiving the ball. If you're going to bin blokes for the lightest of touches off the ball then that's got to be at the least a sin bin.
I really do think it’s time they re-introduced the 5 minute sin bin for tackles like Burgess and Whitehead. You can’t give Croker 10 but nothing for dangerous tackles.
why is there a sin bin every game now? it's completely ruining it. and these random penalties for not using the foot to play the ball yet there's still constantly players not using their foot, they'll just pick a random one out of nowhere to penalise. who cares anyways? this whole season has been a write off so far. you don't earn territory or an overlap anymore, the ref chooses when and who gets it for some arbitrary reason.
Yeh they really need to stop penalising for not using the foot to play the ball because the play the balls are back to being an absolute joke and they're not achieving anything by pulling up a random one every few games. Woods got penalised in the Roosters game and I thought to myself the next player who doesn't play it with their foot from our side has to be the dumbest cunt. Tedesco then proceeds to play the ball about 15 times throughout the game without using his foot once... didn't get penalised though. Just becoming a farce quickly.
If anything players not getting up properly to play it is more annoying than simply not touching it with the foot.
