You don't have a genuine centre in there. We have the best centre in the game, an Origin proven player in Mogg, a Kiwi beast on the wing and Rob's favourite Canberran on the other wing.

 

Inu is a genuine center, Boyd is comfortable anywhere in the backline, Luke Rooney was the best NSW winger a few years back and Quinn is a representative winger and has been the winger for the Storm who have featured in 4 straight GFs.

Look at it this way:

Boyd > Mogg
Hodges > Inu
Rooney > Meli
Quinn > Milne

 

Meli > Rooney
Mogg > Boyd in the centres.

 

They're pretty close either way.

Still don't see how it's the worst.

 

Boyd is a fullback/winger, not a centre. He can fill in there, that's about it. I loved Rooney but he declined terribly, he was awful for his last two seasons while Meli still does well in ESL.

Agreed with Quinn over Milne though, but Milne may very well end up playing fullback for our reggies team. In fact I'd be very surprised if he doesn't. He was signed as cover for Dugan and wing depending on injuries/ratings as I know he won't be bad.

 

I don't think it matters as the rest of your team is solid. I'd just be signing a genuine centre if I were you. Guess I've spent more time reading Cribbalyses of rugby league in terms of the role of a centre/five-eighth etc than you have.

 

But in the sim, he's a good centre. He's a good dummy half runner, a decent defender, good at running off playmakers and he's good at putting his winger away.

He is still a good first grade winger and handy late pick up though.

 

It was more the fact he's playing in/ cemented his spot in a team which has.
