To be fair every single one of them bar perhaps Motlop (whose isn't perfect) have terribly bad injury records
Yeah injuries are killing me! Just this week: Puopolo 2 weeks Vince 1 week Toovey 8 weeks Ivan Maric 5 weeks I get Jeremy Cameron back this week which is a plus but losing the guys above will hurt.
missing 2 yrs of footy before you're 23 is a bad injury record. Though they're in a separate category on injury sim. There are 20 categories in injury sim between 1 and 20. 1 is a 1% chance of injury and 20 is a 20% chance of injury. I think 14 is the highest and after that it's 10 though. Nearly all fall between 2 and 8% Odd numbers I believe are 'LTI prone' - so those in the odd % files have, when injured, a greater chance of being out for longer while the evens are more 'soft tissue prone' i.e. when they're out it's not for as long. Most of the blokes who are LTI prone (i.e done an ACL before or broken a leg/stress fractures etc.) have a less chance of getting injured, i.e. 3-5% - just when they do it's more likely to be bad (still more likely to be out for 1 week than 2 and 2 than 3, though) whereas the normal group (evens) are normally a higher chance of getting injured but less length on them. Then of course there's unlucky buggers like Daniel Menzel who have a terribly high chance of getting injured AND it being bad I think Walker, Polec and Whitecross are all in like a lowish number of the 'lti prone' category and Morabito's in the LTI prone category too but high. Motlop's in the normal soft tissue prone category and mid range so he's a bit unlucky.
I don't really like Drafts so I'd like to of seen you keen pretty much all of your team and can de list 5 or 6 and redraft that many like in Real Life
Yeah from a personal POV I'd like that as my list is primed but it allows for stagnation. A pretty big draft is a necessity IMO as it keeps people actively involved as otherwise it's just like 5 picks every season and naming lineups. Also keeps teams interested as really nobody wants to manage a dead end list when there's very little to improve it; mass drafting allows the bottom feeders to rise quicker and enjoy the comp while the retention system still rewards those who drafted well initially. It sucks in some degrees but it's a necessity IMO. Otherwise we'll get the same teams in 5 seasons dominating as there hasn't been enough turnover. That or the top team will be whoever rapes masters the hardest in trades.
