Yeah, but a active keen guy >>>> guy who you have to go on another forum/facebook to request and sign a contract and who is completely uninterested otherwise and probably won't post during the season. Not talking about anyone Specific here, but in general.
Not really in general. A lot of the players get to sign aren't "inactive" as such, they just come on once every few weeks or so. And a lot of them are much better players than the newbies, so giving up on them messes with the competition.
Yeah, wasn't talking about guys who come in once or twice every few weeks but more about guys who have 2/3 posts in 4/5 months and such or not at all and even when they post are uninterested in the Sim or the Club concept. In general they are declining players too and having too many results in a quiet sub forum and thus makes the club less attractive in terms of pulling/retention power.
Maintain a top 20 batting rank Avg at least 40 in BS and in PC Help the Clones not to finish on the bottom
The way this sim is designed, it allows players who rarely log in to actually be quite good if they have been active in the past with a huge post count to their name. While they are declining, they will still be better than a new player. I agree completely about the quiet sub forum being less attractive as these guys will probably post only a couple of times a season in some instances and yet be picked ahead of the newer active player. Nothing much can be done about this though.
In some cases this is true, but in most cases they are just declining ALC players as of now who no one else will sign if their current club doesn't. Don't think the Sim is designed one way or the other either as sometimes new guys like Mike and Chewie who are active can start dominating quickly, while sometimes Old inactives can still regain their form. It's bit of a gamble either way in terms of that and only really applies to big guys who are inactive.
Just realised my curse keeps continuing S4: 34 @ 43 S5: 93 @ 25 S6: 45 @ 38 S7: 25 @ 42 S8: 50 @ 28 S9: 40 @ 37 S10: 26 @ 46 S11: 67 @ 26 badluck pumas
That would be fine, but it is clear that for some clubs, even with all the people they are chasing up re-signing, they will need more numbers. Being picky is the last thing they can afford to do.
After a solid OCC, I would like to think that I can average >45 with the bat this season, would be very pleasing to be in the runs - and batting 6 I'll have some good chances to make runs.
