Every team claimed some of the best players. Not really an arguement you can use. Cheetahs without a doubt were a fail club.
TBF they could've been but they were a bit too slow in terms of recruitment. When they got round to it the Giants, Spartans and Vikings had snapped everyone up.
And? Not trying to get personal with Doog here but if the club was run well they wouldn't have faced that problem.
Because of the change over we didnt have a president for about a month. Doog couldnt register here or something. Logan ran it by himself for about the first month, hence the Blue Bolts - bad times But tbf we didnt know who was running us for the first few weeks.
You were still dire in Season 2. Yeah you were at a bit of a disadvantage by having your season 1 squad but there was still a lot of good chiefs players on the market, did you get any?
I agree with Callum, but after Season 1 the rep was in tatters a bit and the good players wanted to go to more successful teams.
I accept full responsibility for the direness of the cheetahs tbh, I just wasn't here when the club needed me. Still, even with our lack of winning we've always had a great team spirit and heaps of active members, and if the latest results are anything to go by, it was starting to pay off by the end...
