I put myself above schaw and you for a reason. you guys can play 4 positions or what not to a good enough standard but I can play three to a better standard.

like my average rating for point might be 7.5 and sf 8, sg 8.5 over a large enough sample whereas you might be 'capable' and average straight 7.5s or something and I'd prefer the quality over 3 as opposed to quantity over 4.

i mean like someone could make a weird rego and be capable of playing all 5 lawl but they'd be just equally shit at them they'd be versatile but shit

No such thing. You can have best scoring back court player though

I'm definitely a large enough guard at 6'5 but I don't think I'd be able to hold up pf at all doubt i'd have the interior/post/strength required on defense. If someone like Jabba were at sg or something perhaps we'd be able to swap on d but it'd be better off just playing me sg and him pf permanently then :p

I am not just a decent player though. I can stretch the floor (one of the best in the game), play inside or outside on D to a allstar level, play back court or front court on offense in a limited possession role. You can only play backcourt which makes me more versatile the fact I can be matched against someone who is 6'5'' or someone who is 7'6'' on d is such an amazing option to have in terms of lineups you can put out.

Yeah i was jking ish. at a push there would be a couple of guys that you could match up, essentially on offense they are just going to put someone on you who can stay with you so that is much of a muchness, and there are teams that don't run there 4 in the post that much so you could play 4 in some schemes offensively no worries. Defensivley it would essentially come down to how much time they want to spend in the post, you would get dominated all day long by Hunt/McDougal/Hall because they would just take you in side and post up every time. Downes has a good all-round game and could probably be effective down to 2 at times so I think he would beat you by going inside as well. But there are no doubt a couple of big guys who aren't going to be good enough either with their hands or at the low post that you could stay with alright, especially if you and your team can stop the inside pass.

Even on a spread offense it is so easy for someone 6'9 to dominate someone 6'5'' the fact they have a larger step and more length creates so much shooting space if skip were to bite and back pedal on jabs/fadeaways etc.

Yeah he isn't going to hang with Dirk Nowitski any day... but there are plenty of big guys who don't have the feet skills to make him pay for his lack of size in the mid court. Plus you would hope his off the ball defense is strong enough that some of those slower big guys aren't going to get anything.

Skippos going 2/4 from 3 point land is as crazy as anything i've seen in awhile.
