Is it just me or do the Ravens always do pretty well in the care cup.

Every time I do something decent in the first innings I fail massively in the second.

    Seems so.

Surprised Cribb didn't get in the squad to play the Windies. Tarty finally turned up in the 2nd dig there. Good to see.

  5. Shri G Shriram

Did my part for the side. Good shit.

To me, they've never really seemed to find it all that hard to find a first XI tbh, so their line-ups are usually as close to full-strength as possible.

  7. Speirz DG Speirs

Can't even make the NSW side.

  8. Skippos SM Morgan

    Large road tbh

AH. That's why he's split City from Country, is it?

  10. Speirz DG Speirs

Nah, he'd probably make the OD side straight up.

  11. Alec Bannerman A Bannerman

My first match against my old side, was horrible.

  12. Tartmaster AJ James

    Gun game by the team.
Finally a half decent innings from me.

  13. Old Mate M Perry

Some good knocks and a couple of wickets, choice bra.

Averaging over 40 now and nearing 50 fc wickets, yes!

    Oh and we lost, boo-urns.

I think you will be good for the Ravens this season. I would go so far as to say, you will probably have your best season....IMO.

  16. Callum CJ Laing

No offense to Shri but would not really be difficult to have his best season.

  17. Cribbage RG Cribb

I thought he was exceptional for the Rays last season. He stats don't quite reflect the role he played (although averaging 25 with the bat and 31 with the ball is hardly bad) - his best games were always when the top six had failed to score or the opening bowlers had failed to make breakthroughs. As someone who was batting seven and coming on as the fifth bowler, he played his role perfectly.

    Ged to confirm.

  18. Callum CJ Laing

Yeah you have said how important you feel his role was on many occassion before. In terms of stats though it wasn't exactly wonderful, especially averaging 25 with the bat. I think most allrounders would be hoping for around 35 to class it as a good season.

  19. Shri G Shriram

Well, your views are a polar opposite to what I view as an awesome season. I prefer to beat the shit out of the ALC and show the noobs how its done. Don't give a **** about BS stats. I can't help being awesome by default though.

  20. Paddy P Orr

Good win Ravens :D I bowled decently too.
