Making it like the Lions would be awesome!

Yeh 3 subs isnt enough, agree with Blunder 22 would be better.

Who are the test teams playing??
    NZ, Oz, Lions, Eng ??

  3. Luffers JRE Luffman

But initially take 40 and cut it down, tour matches FTW

  4. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Would be awesome for those involved. not for those not though.

  5. Luffers JRE Luffman

But you will also have the emerging team.

TBH 44 people is nearly everyone who actively participates.

Perhaps take 44 people for the SRXV tour matches, which don't count as rep matches, then when it comes to the tests split the squads into SRXV and ESRXV

Would be fairly disappointed if I didnt make this side or at least the squad.

  7. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeh. Maybe. Are there enough props in the game though?

  8. Callum CJ Laing

Yeah definitely not enough because it really doesnt give you many options if people arent performing well.

You'd need minimum of four max of 8, 6 would be ideal.

The teams would have to be mingled and gradually seperated, need 4 games IMO.

Game 1 and 2 everyone plays
    Game 3, 1/2 probables 1/2
Game 4, those who are fighting for a place in the squad/team

Are they the "trial games" before the actual thing you're talking about Luffers??

As said something simular to a Lions tour would be epic.

  11. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeh, against club teams. Like the Lions did.

Good to see Marcuss' idea and my browsing the internet for international sides has finally come together :p

BTW from what I did for Eds there aren't trial games, just a load of games against international sides otherwise it'd take about 4 months to sim.

  14. Luffers JRE Luffman

There should be at least 1 trial match though.

    Probables vs Possibles?

And the squads need to be raised to 22.

  15. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Maybe play the winner of the PC versus probables. With the PC team taking precendence.

  16. Luffers JRE Luffman

What? That doesn't make much sense.

You need to get the 30 players who are most likely to make the squad onto the pitch. Would make much more sense to play Probables Vs Possibles.

  17. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeh but it does, as alot of the players in the PC winning team will most likely be in contention anyway.

And I seriously doubt we will be considering as much as 30 players for this.

So those who dont play for the winning PC team and are most likely to have a chance at making the 22/18 play for the trial team.

It's still a round about way of doing things. Much easier to play Probables vs Possibles anyway. Else we are basically playing another round of the PC as I believe there are only 3 states, so it'll just be clumping 2 together.

Say the winners of the PC have the worst scrum half, and the other 2 scrum halfs are better than him, but are pretty similar to each other, one of them won't get to play and so we will have weaker pool to choose out of.

Possibles vs Probables is more practical.

  19. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

The probelm with Possibles vs Probables is the possibles will just get dicked, so its not fair on those players.

The teams, stadia etc. were only done for internationals by me, I don't know if there'll be a warm up but i presume Eds is taking 18 so people can all play a part.
